JENNY
(Founder, Contributing blogger & Editor) A rising third year marketing major at The University of Texas at Austin in the McCombs School of Business. She has big dreams, a big appetite, and big opinions. Jenny loves to fluctuate between denying herself coffee and drinking it like it's water. She also enjoys watching documentaries, daily vlogs on YouTube, cooking shows, singing contests, and the occasional reality TV show (without any shame). Jenny hopes to travel the world one day and perhaps live in Shanghai, her city of origin. Everything about her seems normal until she gets comfortable with you. Sherwhovian. DYLAN (Contributing blogger & Founding member) Dylan is a junior at the University of Texas at Arlington studying International Relations and Russian politics. She tries to appear tough and hotheaded at times, but forgets she’s 5’ 2’’ and has the combat experience of a hamster. She is incredibly passionate about learning languages and cultures from around the world, and is constantly working to her next step to the day, when she can completely dedicate herself to helping those who suffer from war and violence on a daily basis. You will quickly grow to learn of her unhealthy obsession with video games, Pokémon, and Kpop boy bands, and basically anything as cliché and girly as possible. Aleksej (Contributing blogger & Founding member) Aleksej studies International Affairs and Political Science at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is an agnostic global citizen that hopes to transform the world through his writing, thoughtful opinions, and interactions with others. An émigré from Macedonia and caught between two worlds he seeks to prove that our differences do not divide us, they actually unite us. Addicted to food, politics, and being loud he couldn’t care less what others think of him. Anti-establishmentarian. Emily (Contributing blogger) Emily is a junior at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where she is studying Nursing. Originally from Canada, she likes everything about the cold and even misses the occasional blizzard. She is excited to be working in a field where she is able to heal people in need, and hopes to work in either Pediatrics or Oncology after she graduates and continue her education in Canada. Emily loves being outside, working out, and doing yoga. If you happen to run into her, lookout for her colourful Chacos, yoga pants, coconut water, and her yoga mat slung across her back.
